Course Description:
The course combines classical criminological topics that are looked at from the perspective of contemporary global issues (incl. organized crime, human trafficking, modern slavery etc.) as well as specialist lectures on cybercrime and cybersecurity. Transnational criminology is a rapidly developing field that explores crime, punishment and criminal justice beyond their national boundaries and discuss them from an international perspective. Cybercrime is currently one of the most difficult challenges facing law enforcement agencies.
